Refund Policy

At Konceptus AI, we offer AI-powered concept generation, digital sketching tools, and—upon request—custom build plan services. Because our products are digital and, in many cases, custom-made, we generally do not offer refunds once a service has begun or a file has been delivered.

We want to ensure your satisfaction, and we commit to evaluating refund requests fairly and transparently under the terms below.

1. Refund Eligibility

We may offer a refund under the following circumstances:

  • Non-Delivery of Service: You paid for a service that was not delivered due to a verified technical issue or system failure on our part.
  • Duplicate or Erroneous Charges: You were incorrectly billed or charged more than once.
  • Defective Output: You received a severely corrupted or unusable file (e.g., blank output, unreadable format), and we were unable to provide a working replacement within 5 business days of being notified.

2. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued for the following:

  • Dissatisfaction with the artistic style, visual output, or subjective expectations if these were not communicated clearly before placing the order.
  • Misunderstandings of the product description, capabilities, or service scope.
  • Change of mind after the service has begun or a digital product has been delivered.
  • Minor issues or errors that can reasonably be corrected through revisions or support.
  • Charges for paid plans where the access period has already begun.

3. Refund Policy for Custom Build Plan Services

Custom build plan services involve manual work (e.g., part/assembly drawings, weldments, BOM creation) and are governed by the following terms:

a. Requesting a Quote

  • Quote requests are free and non-binding.
  • No charges or refund terms apply until a quote is accepted and paid.

b. Upon Quote Acceptance

  • Once a quote is accepted and payment is received, the project is marked “in progress.”
  • Refunds are not available once work has begun, including research, drafting, or initial sketches.

c. Cancellations During Project

  • If you cancel a project after work has started but before final delivery, a partial refund may be considered.
  • The refund amount depends on how much of the work has been completed and costs already incurred.

d. Delayed Delivery

  • If a build plan is delivered more than 15 business days late beyond the agreed timeline, without valid communication or justification from our team, a partial refund may be granted after review.

💡 All refund decisions for custom services are made on a case-by-case basis.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at support@konceptusai.com within 7 calendar days of your purchase or final delivery. Please include:

  • Your full name and contact email
  • Order ID or quote reference
  • A detailed explanation of the issue
  • Relevant screenshots or documents (if applicable)

We’ll respond within 3–5 business days with next steps.

5. Important Notes

  • If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method.
  • Abuse of this policy (e.g., excessive refund requests, misuse of services) may result in account suspension.
  • Konceptus AI reserves the right to approve or deny any refund request at its sole discretion.
